Middle School Baseball

Crater Baseball’s Middle School Baseball program will hold tryouts on Sunday, February 26th, at 1:00 p.m. at Anhorn Field. We expect to field three teams this year, one seventh grade team and two eighth grade teams. The cost to participate is $300, and we plan on scheduling between 30 and 40 games. For tryouts, prospective players should wear athletic pants (baseball, shorts, or sweats) and bring a glove. If the players has a favorite bat and cleats, that’s a bonus, but families should not purchase such items until the player is formally placed on a team. For more information email Jay.Campbell@district6.org. Also, Crater Baseball’s senior class is planning a baseball clinic for players between the ages of 10 and 14. It’s tentatively scheduled for Saturday, February 25th, at Anhorn. More info to follow.

Spring Baseball Tryouts

Tryouts for the Crater High School baseball program begin on Monday, February 27th at Anhorn Field immediately after school (approximately 4:00). Students wishing to play need to have completed all paperwork and have completed a sports physical. Contact the Athletic Department for details.
