Varsity Season Concludes

After climbing back in the championship hunt following a slow start, the 2015 Varsity season concluded with a first round playoff loss to Summit. The boys beat Central High School 1-0 in a play-in game before losing 1-4 at Summit of Bend. The end-of-season dessert banquet will be on Monday, June 8th at 5:30 at Anhorn. All players and their families are invited to attend. The raffle drawing for the butchered pig will be held at that time as well.

Summer Ball Updates

We already have our first change to the D2 schedule. Our game on Monday, June 1st at North Valley has been cancelled. We’ll replace it with four games with Grants Pass: a doubleheader at Grants Pass on Wednesday, June 10th, at 3pm, and a doubleheader at Anhorn on Tuesday, June 16th, at 3 pm. D2 players will practice on Monday, June 1st and Thursday June 5th at 4:15 at Anhorn.

The raffle for the half-hog has been extended to Monday, June 8th. Players have until June 7th to sell tickets. Tickets cost $5 each, and given the weak sales, the odds of winning look pretty good!

Legion will start soon. The first game is June 12th. Players will be contacted individually this week.

Please see below for more info about the purpose of the meeting, and click on the “schedules” tab to see a tentative D2 schedule.
