Summer Ball Updates

We already have our first change to the D2 schedule. Our game on Monday, June 1st at North Valley has been cancelled. We’ll replace it with four games with Grants Pass: a doubleheader at Grants Pass on Wednesday, June 10th, at 3pm, and a doubleheader at Anhorn on Tuesday, June 16th, at 3 pm. D2 players will practice on Monday, June 1st and Thursday June 5th at 4:15 at Anhorn.

The raffle for the half-hog has been extended to Monday, June 8th. Players have until June 7th to sell tickets. Tickets cost $5 each, and given the weak sales, the odds of winning look pretty good!

Legion will start soon. The first game is June 12th. Players will be contacted individually this week.

Varsity Playoff Game and Change to D2 Meeting

The Varsity play-in game against Central is scheduled for this Friday at 4:00 at Anhorn Field. Because this is an OSAA event, admission is charged. Because of the timing of the game, our D2 Summer Baseball organization meeting for interested players and their parents will be at 6 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the Varsity game ends. Please see below for more info about the purpose of the meeting, and click on the “schedules” tab to see a tentative D2 schedule.

D2 Summer Ball Meeting and Practice

Players interested in playing D2 summer ball are asked to attend a meeting on Friday, May 22nd at 4:15 at the JV Field. We’ll discuss team policies, playing time standards, fees, the schedule, transportation, and more. Afterwards, players are encouraged to attend the Varsity playoff game. The D2 team’s first practice is scheduled for Friday, May 29th at 4:00, and the first game is Monday, June 1st at Hidden valley High School in Murphy at 5:30. The season runs from June 1st to July 27th with breaks for Independence Day and football camp. If you have questions, call Mack Lewis at 541-778-4927, or email at mack.lewis@district6.org.

Congrats to JV Team
