JV & Frosh Finish Successful Seasons
The Junior Varsity and Freshmen baseball teams completed successful 2012 seasons. After getting off to a slow start, the JV finished 15-6, including sweeps of North Medford, Grants Pass, and Ashland. They took two of three games from Roseburg and Eagle Point, and capped the season by finally beating South Medford, thanks largely to a stalwart complete-game pitching performance by Rick Joerger. The freshmen team also featured quality pitching, including complete game shut outs by Dylan Pearce. They finished 14-4, sweeping North Medford and Grants Pass while also taking two of three from Roseburg.
