High school preseason workouts are underway. Pitchers and catchers are working Mondays and Wednesdays at Scenic Middle School from 6 to 7:15 p.m.. Fielders are meeting on the Crater football field from 4 to 5:15 on Tuesdays for defensive work, and hitters are meeting in the cages from 4-5:15 on Thursdays. Crater alum Larson Kindreich is off to a hot start for Biola University. He fanned twelve batters in his first outing of the season, leading Biola to a 4-2 victory. Larson is 2-0 on the season and has a 13 inning scoreless streak going. You can read more about Larson here:
